Venue Description
Revelers are greeted by a valet and are just a red carpet walk from the entrance of this two-story nightclub. They enter through the main lounge that houses a circular, center concrete bar with a state-of-the-art audio visual component comprised of six rear-screen projectors and a Turbo-Sound audio system. The room is flanked by sexy stairways on either side of the circular bar that wind around to the mezzanine, which is bordered by custom panels of hot pink and orange plexiglass . There is a separate dance room surrounded by wenge wood walls alternately striped with white shag carpeting to create a mod throwback while providing awesome acoustics. Located just steps from MARTA and situated between major thoroughfares connecting Midtown and Buckhead, the design is inspired by transportation and the idea of being taken away. There is upholstered orange leather, teak tables from Bali, LED lighting and plush fabrics. The Champagne Room has gold patent leather diamond-tufted walls, snakeskin seats and a jeweled chandelier. There is a sexy second floor VIP area with hot pink faux crocodile upholstered banquettes, liquid-lava table tops and mirrored mosaic tile walls.
The art program which consists of mixed-media and aerosol art installed throughout the space, represents the idea of street art seen on buses and trains. Patti has assembled the custom work of three artists, providing walls of intensely complex content. Dr. Daks created the urban graffiti, Jason Horton painted the fine art and mixed-media artist James Booth provided the assemblage pieces.
